Ok, so we've been able to vote and rate all the games on AG for ages.
But, now the new MMO category - we suddenly can't?
Why?

I want to downrage every single one of those edgebee games to -99 if able,. but we can't rate MMO games. Unless there's some secret hidden rate button somewhere?

Could be the very reason why they don't allow us to rate them.

We can downrate every other game if we so wish it, I don't see why the MMO category should have diplomatic immunity.

They decided so... assumption: maybe AG have a agreement with these MMO-developers... could happen AG get a lil interst if an AG-user spent some money on one of these MMOs.
And therefore they dont want (bad) comments/ratinds...

Beyond that, this thread would be better placed in S&G.

Assuming your theory is true, that's some really disgusting business practice right there. Trying to cover up the fact that a game sucks by hindering communication regarding the suckish nature of the game, instead of simply making a better game.

Companies want money, gamers want good games to play. If more companies were actually willing to put the effort into making good games, they wouldn't have to worry about money once they got rolling because they'd have a reputation for making good games. Instead of that we have all this Zynga and edgebee crap floating around imposing ridiculous limitations on the players in an effort to get them to either suck all their friends into the game or pay real-world money to do stuff that any normal game would allow you to do for free, and people are buying into it for God-knows-what reason. Probably because they've never played a good game before.

I'll just use Fantasy Online as an example. If your game is entirely combat-oriented, and your combat is less complicated than that of Zelda 1, a game made almost THIRTY YEARS ago, you're ****ing doing it wrong. Even Runescape has better combat than FO, for crying out loud.

Exactly.
Edgebee studios is a terrible studio, it deserves bad comments.
Here on the forums or there on the game itself.

Fantasy online is "not bad" until you reach level 10 or so and find out the game is the same, the same, the same ad infinitum. Double click a monster and make it die.
Quest to kill 10 monsters, 20 monsters, 100 monsters, 250 monsters.
That's the whole game. It just gets a few different looking creatures and zones,. but you're still just double clicking a monster again and again.

It baffles me how there's people that have reached more than level 30 in that game.

Indeed, Zelda 1 is a dozen times more complicated than this game, because you actually had the choice to attack from a distance and move around.

Well, AG does it themselves really. Over time we'll simply see more and more users leave AG and jump onto kongregate or even newgrounds. But that is for another time and concern.
Right now, I'm mostly curious why on earth we can't VOTE on MMO games that are listed here. It doesn't make sense to me.
