The little known chinese holocaust was an Ungodly event it acured during the same time as the Jewish Holocaust but in my opinion was far more horrible due to the way the way the people were exucuted.I could tell about some of the things that japanese soldiers would do to the chinese but I would probably be banned from the forum.I encourage everyone to research it when they have a moment.

I think that the reason that the Jewish Holocaust is more known, is because there is so much more media material of the camps. For example, I'm sure that almost everyone has seen at least one photo of either Auschwitz, Dachau, or Bergen-Belsen. However, I have not seen one photo of a Japanese death camp, nor have I ever heard the story of an American soldier liberating it. It's not that us Americans are necessarily ignorant about the issue, it's that we do not have as strong of a connection to that part of the world.
Thats because there were few death camps. There were labour camps where the people were worked to death in the jungle, but most of the deaths just happened in the city where the Japs went on a rampage when they wanted. Or the mass gears are only being unconvered.

I disagree with the Western camp argument at any rate. The FRG was part of NATO yet the Holocaust was still publicized. In fact, it was the Westerners who pushed for more knowledge about this since their POWs were also slaughtered by the Japanese. It's just a case of not being well publicized.

Yes, California schools touch on the Japanese camps, but not as long as the holocaust, the Jewish one. More media focus on that, for a number of reasons.
Some of those reasons could be racist, does that make them false? Nope.

Yep this was true. Arguably it also was more gradual, from the early 1930s right up till the end. They did have specialised labour/death/medical camps though, but not on the Holocaust scale.

the islands belong to japan and the extremists are from china. they didn't "took over" it. they wanted to claim it. but there was military backup from japan. they allowed the chine's to wave their 2 flags (1 china and 1 of their group) on the coast but removed them from the island when they wanted to go further on.

Not "officially". The Chinese claim is equally valid and needs to be submitted to the ICJ to be ratified. The difference between Germans and Jews and Chinese and Japanese is that the latter fought actively. We fought long wars with them instead of being herded into camps. The Chinese had a nation state already, which focused the hate into blunt nationalism that still lasts till today. This still trickles down even to the diaspora.
