I've been having an occuring problem. Another user with a similar username without underscores seems to be interfering with my profile. This had been going on for a few months, and usually happens for many days a week.
I just wanted everyone's opinion if I could possibly contact a mod, and change to a new account. Or keep my profile, and wait to see what happens.

I'd recommend contacting an administrator and trying to get a name change. This is an inconvenience and if they don't want to fix the problem at hand, they could at least change your username, since you have issues using the site under your current one. It's possible for them to do it as well, an administrator--mmorrison--changed his username to Boppins recently.
If they deny your request, create a new account, and on that new account include on the about that you were previously Santi_. And on the Santi_ account close the comments and include your new account on the about.
