Can anybody help? It's really annoying especially when my internet is rather slow. I love the forums, but responding to stuff is hard when you reply to the person who you think is above you, and who it really is is different.
Are you using hard refresh or just regular refresh? Regular refresh does not work most of the time in the forums, you have to kick it up a notch and use Ctrl+F5, aka hard refresh... =)
Are you on a Mac or a PC? On a Mac, Control+F5 isn't going to do anything for you. Try Command+Shift+R if you're using a Mac.
Also, where are you refreshing the page? If you hard refresh in the main subforum page, it refreshes who the most recent poster was in each thread for the most part, but it doesn't refresh the individual threads; you have to hard refresh on the most recent page of the thread if you want to truly be sure that the page is refreshed.
I'm running windows, but I switched to Firefox and that seems to have fixed the problem.
I noticed when I switched to FF, most of my problems with the regular usage of hard refresh were fixed. Not sure the same for Chrome, since I don't use it.
It's pretty annoying, especially in large forum games where being ninja'd is pretty common.
