The last like ten comments I've made haven't given me AP. I wasn't spamming or anything. I used more than seven words. I don't know why it's doing this.
Sometimes there is a delay in the addition of AP. Wait a little while and see if your AP count updates.
This is mostly common during site maintence and as tomorrow is the big day, this is probably the reason.
For those of you who don't know, your AP is linked to you comments, forum posts etc. Your AP is not updating but either is your comment count, forum count etc. This means it hasn't registered and therefore should be updated later :]

People still haven't learned that AP doesn't matter.
Anyway, I don't really care but I think that the admins have locked in the amount of AP you have so they can give achievements based on that. If they didn't lock it then someone on the site would make it to wood king or something and then when they didn't get the medal for that they would complain like it actually meant something. So the admins did this most likely because it will make the transfer less painful for everyone.
And don't care about AP. Care about making the site better.
Whoever said anything less than seven words is spam doesn't understand what spam is. Only a Sith deals in absolutes. The Moderators are clearly Jedi. So you're following the words of a Sith, we're going to have a problem on our hands. It doesn't matter how long a comment is if you're making a lot of them in a short time period.
Anyways...
AP doesn't update automatically. And stop worrying about your AP and just enjoy the site. Internet points don't mean anything.

No AP lock was announced, so I think you're wrong. However, this forum post will be used as a test. Before this post, I had 6027 AP, so I should have 6028 afterwards (though I might need to wait a few minutes for an update before determining the existence of an AP lock). Also, according to calculations, I should have 6028 AP before this post and therefore 6029 afterwards.

Did you seriously not read the comments?

How does that prove daleks correct? Then again, my AP updated to 6032 after additional forum posts and a comment to boppins about a possible AP lock.
After reading some posts in other threads, it appears that AP is not locked. It is just extremely slow such that it appears locked until an update occurs.
I don't care that much about getting AP. I care more about making the site a better place. Like Daleks, but it always helps to get a higher ranking, because that can mean more influence.

Was me, not Daleks. Daleks assumes it could be an AP lock, but if you notice Gantics comment saying "AP doesn't update automatically."
This has happened numerous times before, where AP has shot up. Just takes a while. Although if they have locked it, yay, because it means AG3 is on its way.
Quote fail. & Add: Plus, the functions of the site still seem to be working. I think if they'd put an AP lock on, it might make problems commenting and posting in forums due to their connection.
