plokkey, are you done posting on this thread? You've given your opinion, there's no need to spam. Yes, of course college does help. The people you named can't compare to the amounts of people that DID finish college and are rich, smart, famous etc. Why would we have college if it didn't help?
OK. Bill Gates got lucky that time. Also, you have a small amount of people who influenced the world. Do I see Millions on that list? No! College will never hurt you. It will at least add some new knowledge unless you are a know-it-all.
Well you don't have to be a know-it-all but you do have to have a different way of thinking. Most of the people who are famous took an idea and thought about it from a different angle than others, making something out of it or so.
However, being more educated and having the paperwork to show it will help you a lot.
