They have been developing the new website for about a year or two I think... they started somewhere mid/end 2010 with the work on the basics and ideas for it! =)
Had to laugh at the fuss over someone guessing a date.
LOL I can totally relate to you having to laugh about it GOM! But if it was a mere "let's shout something into the void and see what comes back out" -kind of date, then I'm dissapointed... I actually dozed off a little on the fact that not everything written in the forums is fact... (o.O) *facepalms*
Im curious to see what the new version will look like and what new features will be available when all is said and done.
Have you checked the youtube video tour Kirby made about the new website yet? It has a peek behind the courtains on what it's going to look like!
what is not likely is that AG3 will be finished before 2013! The admins said they would start things out by testing features on this site, but so far they haven't even done that so we can't expect a release any time soon!
See? Now that's a reasonable assumption there! I have actually seen them try out some minor stuff already, with the green "Feedback" button at the side for example, but the real on-site testing hasn't been seen yet... so it's only fair to conclude that! =)

It isn't without risking everyone jumping him for having said this, but I can't imagine daleks having said that it launches on November 14th with much background... that just isn't him!
November 14, 2012 is not a random date. It will be the five-year anniversary of the creation of AG2 (or rather, when the first account was made). Although, if they really wanted to do the whole anniversary thing more accurately, they would release it on January 8, 2013, because that will be the five-year anniversary of when AG2 was released from beta; hence releasing AG3 from beta on that date.
The idea behind these dates are definitely logical; they just aren't realistic.
See? I knew daleks didn't just randomly shouted a date into the world for the launch of AG3!?! That just isn't him! =)
Anyway, even though the date makes sense and is logic, I still don't think they can make it before then as I have a really good hunch (see? "hunch", as in 'idea', 'thought', 'random', etc.) that there's still a lot of work to do before they can release it for real! It would actually be stupid to launch it before they have everything fixed, tested and solid!

daleks says that the logic is not evidence to back up a November 14th release date prediction. Here's a comment he made on my profile:

Anyway, even though this is completely off topic...
If you want more levels to be added to "Earn to Die" you should contact the developers of the game, ToffeeGames and ask them, not post in a random thread and ask for it...
And ArmorGames has an irradic amount of games being uploaded every week (which is more accurate than a day), but they do try to upload at least one MMO game per week...

I was merely curious where that statement of November 14, 2012 being the date of release/launch came from and inquired about it, that's all...
