Right, now my thesis is completed, I have some time to cook something up. I'm doing y'all a favor, breaking my leet post count for this :P
Think Homecoming:
I once knew a man named Professor Oak,
Who had so many fans that all the folk,
Across all the lands heard, as he spoke,
In electronic format on a thing called Pokemon-
Lemme tell you how it all began,
Coz people like to dwell on how the history ran,
In a world where people sell out coz they can,
But I digress- well here's the whole shebang-
Imagine if you would, that you could capture pets,
Train 'em as you should, tell 'em when to rest,
And feed them special food, put 'em to the test,
In the neverending quest to become the best,
At locking creatures up in little red and white balls,
Fill the meter up, gotta catch 'em all!
People get in your face, gotta match their call,
When you're part of the race, it's a long way to fall.
I'm gonna get me some pokemon, (x2)
Oh where could they all have gone- they all have gone?
I'm gonna get me some pokemon, (x2)
Oh where could they all have gone-
Maybe they weren't there all along!
Well-there's like six hundred critters in the pokedex,
Some small as your thumb others bigger than a T-Rex,
Made of water, dirt, stone, poison, electric,
And so many others I can't be bothered to list, yeah-
And I can only carry six pokeballs,
And I can take six to a poke-tournament,
But not to worry, there's always space to rent,
I dunno how it works, it seems so bent,
Like a black-market going on underneath our eyes,
And I hear 'bout Team Rocket and their spies,
And their atrocities of mediocrity,
With their constant threats against democracy,
But there ain't no time to think, 'coz in a blink,
My honor could be at stake in a ring,
Facing Onyx with a tiny Pikachu,
But I hold on to my balls, toss 'em out, and call "I choose you!"
I'm gonna get me some Pokemon...
