You learn something new every day, whether or not you realize it right away. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Today I learned the difference between bowler hats, pork pie hats and fedoras. Before today, they were all just fedoras to me. It never occurred to me that all three of these different hat styles had different names.

I also learned that Roseanne is Jewish, and that gummy shot glasses exist.

Today I learned about how once radioactivity comes to an area, it never leaves.

An area stays radioactive sometimes for thousands of years until its half life has decayed to a safe level. To be precise.
I also learnt today that Google is going to be saving lives with it's contact lenses that detects blood sugar levels, heart rate etc.

I think a substance's half-life is precisely when those qualities have halved, to be precise

And, that apparently they've been eavesdropping on our medical data for advertizing purposes: Canada says Google broke law by snooping health info to serve ads.

I've a weekend ahead of learning all about humus (soil); wonder how some 16+ hours of full-on attention will go on me these days :| It's honestly been quite a while. Plus, catering to the attendants. Wish me luck.

I learned that Teddy Bear Picnic Massacre is one of the worst flash games I've played in years, simply because of how little effort the programmer(s) seemed to have put into crucial aspects of the general gameplay.

It's almost as bad as Flagman.

That is exactly what I said. A radioactive atom with stay radioactive until it's half-life under goes enough decaying to reach safe levels. Here is a table from Wikipedia displaying an example of the typical decaying of a radioactive atom.
