I last used AG 2 days ago (I was not active yesterday), and I just logged on today. When I did so, I noticed the following added features (there may be more):

Activity Showing Dot: The dot to the left of your username has been activated to show activity. A green dot means online while a red dot means offline.

Last Seen Browsing: In between the Member Since and any contact info entries is a new line that says "Last Seen Browsing Armor Games". This only shows up if the dot on a profile is green. However, I am not sure why this feature would be implemented or how it's supposed to work.

New Forum Rank: The following is not an actual rank, but it is a new icon in the Rank position of a forum post. It looks like the AG2 logo (shield only) and hovers as "New User". I saw this on Alpha7912 when he created a thread complaining about the password glitch. When I checked his profile, I saw that he only had 2 AP, which is not enough for Wood Serf. This makes me think that the "New User" rank replaces the absence of a rank for those with less than 10 AP.

Note: There may be other new features. If you see any features added in the last 2 days but not listed in the thread, you can post it in the thread.

Update: The "Last Seen Browsing" entry has more than one possible version. boppins has "Last Seen On the Homepage" with no link. However, I don't know what "Last Seen On the Homepage" means, but if you do, I would like the meaning to be posted.

There's yet another version. Gantic's profile has "Last Seen Participating in the Community". So perhaps there is the following division:

-Homepage means that the last AG page visited was the homepage
-Community means that the last AG page visited was in the forums
-Armor Games means that the last AG page visited was something else

It seems that the Armor Games link might be a glitch. You get it whenever you visit your own or possibly someone else's profile, which would explain why you would see that when you visit your own.


You may or may not be correct, but I found another version of Last Seen Browsing on your profile. Your profile has "Last Seen Playing (insert game on AG here)", which most likely indicates that you were playing an AG flash game at the time of this post.

The Last Seen thing is just something I decided to add in along with the "online" stuff. You've pretty much listed all of the things it can show for now. The "Last seen Browsing Armor Games" is just the fallback message (such as looking at your profile). I might as well take out the "Homepage" one and let it default to that.

The 0-9 points users were having broken image links for their ranks, which is now replaced with the shield. There was also a broken image for invalid countries (or perhaps we didn't have a flag for the country), I fixed that as well (on a user's profile).

Boppins actually mentioned that he was going to get that working again in some other thread and it seems he is a man of his word! Kudoos to him! =)

Last Seen Browsing


I think they want to expand the current website to the new AG3 features already, which include a social element that shows what you have been doing and where you have been last on the website, much like FaceBook has.

New Forum Rank


Normally there would be a '-' for the position of rank for a user that has made his first post and hasn't reached the rank of 'Wood Serf' yet. Great thinking on behalf of the AG team! =)

Update on "Last Seen Browsing"


This is actually a sort of lead to show what that user has been doing for his last/current action here on AG, i.e. I had "Last seen browsing ArmorGames" as a notification, which was because I always (99% of the time) enter AG through the homepage... I don't know how quickly this notification is update though. It should say that I was currently browsing the S&S forum when I go and look at it now, we'll see! =)

I just checked and it didn;t change to mentioning this particular forum, but kept saying I was "Last seen browsing armorgames", so I guess there are only a few sentences to show what the user has been up to!

Also... if this all is mentioned elsewhere... isn't it best this thread is locked?

Not to be a killjoy Patrick, but it is discussed in another thread, not specifically about new features in general, but still.. I don't know... =/

Last seen Participating in the Community


This one might be very helpful for community awareness. If users outside of the community see the linked "Community" button on users' profiles, it's a long-shot, but it may just inspire those outside users to participate and eventually contribute to the community.

Isn't the pirate flag the default flag for those that play as a guest and don't have an account? I think you can see those highscores appear among the user scores as well... not sure though! =/

You did it again Ernie! You thought outside of the box about something I wouldn't have come up with! This is exactly a great plus of this new feature! Let's hope more people get awareness of the forums and start participating and posting again! =D

Awesome! Like the idea of an activity-tracking dot a lot. Just wondering, but how long has this been in progress? A red dot has been beside every user's profile picture for quite a while prior to this update, so you must've had the idea planned out a long time in advance.

A few years ago, the dot was actually working, but the dot was de-activated due to lag.

Asked Joey about the pirate flag this morning and he explained it to me. It will replace the unset or unknown country flag next time I push out an update.
