Some games have violence in them to a certain degree, so having an age rating placed on the website saying you need to be at least 13 years of age in order to make an account and become a member sounds pretty solid to me. =)
Not having certain boundaries on things can become a real cause for problems, but in the end it is always the person who's playing the games that needs to be able to cope with what's served to him/her...
