Not too long ago (about a year), I reported a website that uses the ArmorGames name & logo. [url=http://armorgames.name/] I was told it would be taken care of, and I was curious to see if it was removed and found it still up. What's the progress on this?
I think this is a spoof website intended to 'steal' userdata and whatnot?
I guess they didn't feel like it was that much of a problem at AG-HQ, or... they can't actually do anything about it? I guess you'd need to have an admin response for this... maybe posting it on GetSat might give you a quicker response! That, or emailing Justin about this: support@armorgames.com.
Yeah, when I originally posted it about a year ago, a moderator replied and said they would take care of it. And the site is actually just a really crappy flash game site and they suck at copyright infringement. Check out the logo-it's like they copied the little 2x2 one, then made it 40x40, then shrank that to 2x2. It's sad.
All you can do is report it to ArmorGames via notification... maybe be a good knight and send them a message via the contact form?! That would surely be a great help I bet! =)
