You and I know that tablets are totally unsuitable for gaming because adobe are withdrawing/have withdrawn flash support for mobile devices/tablets. However the rest of the world thinks tablets are a replacement for pcs and Lappys. Adobe aren't going to budge on flash, so will AG be forced to simply ignore the ever expanding non flash market base or will they jump on what will initially be a very expensive band wagon(in terms of rewriting code and changing coding habits)
Flash will be and has been adapted for several different types of tablets, smart phones, laptops, and everything in between. Adobe Flash isn't the only software out thee that publishes games into the .SWF format. There's Stencyl, which is getting a humongous burst of popularity since it updated to 2.0 and 1.0 is now free. Besides, having the site change so it can handle stuff like HTML5 won't be that difficult. AG3 is coming out soon and it will surely be modern enough to handle such file formats.
And to completely drag this off-topic, this belongs in the Programming Forum.
I don't think the Flash games will die. You can't just stop making games. But the game developer who wants to continue will have to use AS 3.0 only in the future.
