The forums used to have a super-stickied Merit Guide, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Looks like you have to think your way through! =)

Anyways, I already made a thread in the Newcomers sections on "How to" and things that are useful.

No, not that Merit Guide. I think its called Greg Guide? I have no idea because the thread was locked 4 months ago.

No point in looking at something outdated when they've updated it. More than half of that guide is irrelevant now.

As I said, I read it a couple of months ago. The new Merit Guide is something I have not seen before during my leave.

Key words for a game review merit are "moderator" and &quotreference"... when you write a game review a certain moderator likes and gives preference to, he might give you one... I know Carlie had a strong preference for cheerful reviews back in the days...

Why are we arguing on the content of a Merit when there is so many Merit guides that are plopped into AG!?

Merit Guidelines

-No grammar, spelling, punctuation errors.
-Shows what you like, dislike, and do to fix the game


*Tips to help you earn a Merit*

-Multiple paragraphs long
-Be concise, succinct, and pithy
-Not colloquial or diffuse

These will help a lot to the readers who are desperate for a Merit! (It rhymes! )

LOL I actually laughed at that one! I've never heard anyone pronounce the word as "despAIR-ate" but I have to admire your ability to think outside the box! =D

Because newcomers shouldn't look at outdated material for information when there are updated guides.
