If you're able to state what game(s) this was happening for, it would have been a lot easier johnnygun... but I'll try to answer a little nontheless.
FIRST determine if the save files are local or online... this is important!!!
If the games you experience this with have local saves (on your computer) it would mean you lost your cached game files and can't retrieve them as they are probably deleted...
If the games you experience this with have online saves, you should read what Justin (AG admin) wrote about it in this stickied thread for help.
If all fails, email him at support@armorgames.com, explain the problem to him and wait for his reply. He usually responds within 24-48 hours on weekdays! =)
