Hi, SubZero007 here.
I have some questions about moderators and admins. I'll make a nice list so it will be easier to read.
1. How do you become a moderator?
2. What special privileges do moderators get?
3. Are moderators volunteers?
4. Do they get custom armatars?
5. What process goes on when a user is a candidate to be a moderator?
6. Do you have to be proficient in coding to be a moderator?
7. How do you become an admin?
8. Do you have a better chance of becoming an admin if you are a moderator?
9. Do you have to live near the AG office to be an admin?
10. How much do admins get paid? (And am I even allowed to ask that question?)
11. How many Admins/ Moderators are there?
12. Do you have to be proficient in programming to be an admin?
13. Do admins get custom armatars?
14. Do you need a certain number of AP to be a Moderator or Admin?
15. What special privileges do admins get?
16. What do moderators do?
17. What do admins do?
18. Is there a better place I could have asked these questions?

1. You can find the answer here.

2. Mods get the following powers:
-The ability to delete posts and comments.
-The ability to lock, delete, sticky, move, and rename threads.
-The ability to temp-ban users for 1-14 days.
-Blue text in the forums and comments.

3. Technically, they are, but you cannot ask to be a moderator.

4. Only admins get custom armatars.

5. See #1.

6. No.

7. Admins are employees of AG.

8. No.

9. Yes. The AG office is located in southern California.

10. Only an admin would know.

11. There are 17 admins and 9 mods.

12. In most cases, yes.

13. Yes.

14. No.

15. See #2 except for the following:
-Admins post and comment in green, not blue.
-Admins can also perma-ban users and modify user profiles.

16. Moderators enforce the rules.

17. Admins run the site and make rules.

18. Not that I can think of.

No, but most of the answers can be found in the super-sticky or the thread Patrick linked to.

Yes and no. I think for shorter contracts, perhaps if you're helping them make a game, you don't have to move if you live a while away. Also, if you become an admin as a game developer you don't have to move. I'd imagine if you're working on the site, though, they'd want you in the office.

Dang. There goes another job opportunity. (I'm not looking for a job, I'm fourteen, but it's never too early to start glancing around.) Then again, by the time I'm eighteen, AG may have multiple offices, maybe even one in Austin, Texas?

Austin, Texas

You just revealed the above quote as your location, but I think it's unlikely that AG will open another office besides the existing office.

I somewhat doubt in anyone's ability to find me out of all the 14 year old males in Austin.
Also, what makes you say they wouldn't open another office?

I don't think AG is big enough to open a 2nd office.

What leads you to believe that? I don't know how much profit they get, but the salaries for the employees their hiring for AG3 is pretty substantial - or so they say. Besides, it's sourced in Irvine, CA. It's no New York or L.A., but Irvine is pretty big, and it's home to a lot of large companies.
