this thread is for those stories that are so long, so ridiculous, so epically entertaining, so awesome in so many other ways, that you will return to this forum just to read some of them. ya. were talking that epic. they dont have to be real, and quite frankly, there better if there fake. because fake is awesome, and awesome, is good. the first official epically ridiculous story:
i was driving down park avenue on my way to work one day when i heard a thud. my car was a Lamborghini insecta, impossible that it could have failed me. so the only possible outcome is that i was takin by a pothole. i got out of my car and walked around to the front of the car when i noticed that there wasnt any potholes around, and what i ran over was the thing i never thought existed. the thing that, after all of the years that i was told was fake, all of those times my mom said, "if you ever see that, you run for your life," was what i ran over. it was, the dreaded, Chomolomono. it is a half angel, half shape-shifting spawn of the underworld. i thought, until this day, it was fake. but now, standing in front of this massacred one, i knew it was real. there were thousands of them, waiting to take over the world. now that i killed the first one, the other ten thousand would come out of hiding and try to enslave the human race. the cars behind me were already being takin into the sky by these things, and they would come after me next. they did, and i was then being picked up by one, carried to my death. chomolomono's were here. the earth would be enslaved in literally only three hours by that point, and the survivors would only have a life of the apocalypse to to live through if they even could. it was here. they all were here. the chomolomonos
ya, thats only the beginning of the story. but thats a whole novel waiting to be unwrapped right there, and this forum would never support like 150 pages. so, be creative. by the most ridiculous. top that story, and the first one that does, i will make an even more ridiculous one for him.

What makes you think it wouldn't? If you're talking about the total number of pages a thread can support, 150 is nothing. The largest thread AG has ever seen is over 4000 pages long, which is over 40000 replies. And of course, there's no limit to how large a post can be, provided that it's relevant to the topic.
Collections of short pieces we allow on the Forums. In the AMW section. Even there, we tend to frown upon overly long story telling threads. There are sites which allow you to do such things (as in they are intended for that sole purpose). Even more so since you are essentially telling people "Hey, just make stories up and post them here. Whatever." So it is neither a forum game or a real writing thread.
