So, basically what the title says. I find it tedious and annoying. Is it really necessary?
I think a better purpose would be the ability to edit your about from your profile itself, somewhat like what you can do on Kong. In relation to armatars; more or less the same thing - you can click on your armatar on your page and it would take you to the page of armatars.
The "edit profile" would still need to be there just you wouldn't need to click the menu to access it or your page.
So what I'm more or less suggesting is that you remove the menu feature and have it the way it used to be while making slight tweaks to your personal page.

That would kind of defeat the purpose of AG3. The whole point is to make the site different from other gaming sites. If they added all the features Kongregate has to AG, it wouldn't be AG anymore, but rather a ripoff of Kong.
