I just watched Nosferatu a few nights ago--the Netflix original version with contemporary music and scenes in a couple different colors as opposed to black and white--and it was just unwatchable. I had to add in my own dialogue just to keep myself entertained.
It's amazing what people found scary in the silent movie era. The only scary part of that entire movie was the acting.
