Can someone explain how the damage system rankings work? For example what does 4d4 damage mean? How do i tell what is a better weapon, besides looking at how much is costs or sells for...
First number displays ammounts of dice thrown and the second shows the numebrs of sides those dices have. For example weapon that deals 2d6 damage can deal between 2 and 12 damage Two six sided dice are rolled and the result is the damage dealt.
Wow... Frankly, how can someone NOT know about the dice system? It is a system which been used to generally since games do exist that it should be a classical way to run games and everybody should know about it...
Even some frigging console games these days use the D&D system in some D&D games to achieve exactly the same thing.
How someone can't simply guess out that 2d6 mean 2 times a six sided dice baffle me.
I noticed that using the disenchanter from the shops (or if you find them) increase your enchanting skill. I've also noticed that in rare instance, disenchanting items give out gems.
I am thus guessing a higher skill in enchanting mean higher chance to get better components out of the items and more gems too.
