So, I guess the title says it all.
How much words do you type per minute?
Easiest thing to test it I've found is this.
Post your results here.

I've done it three times, got 92, 95 and 96.

I got 83, but I don't think it's an accurate measurement because I doubt there are too many people who type that fast for an entire minute straight. =P

I could type faster if all the sentences weren't nonsense. lol


They aren't even sentences for that matter...which I feel gives a WPM rating that might not be that accurate. Then of course there are the times where you may have 1 or 2 words with capitals somewhere near the beginning or 1 or 2 words with an apostrophe near the beginning...and other times where you get neither the entire time you type

I got a 70 WPM, I could type faster if all the sentences weren't nonsense. lol


Same here... When i know what i'm typing i generally type faster... Not just firing at nothing.. :P

I'm up to 85, but I don't think that number will get much higher... my fingers can only move so fast!

It's hard to improve it over a daily period anyway, naturally enough the difference would be only slight, if there was any at all.

I just take the taste every few months or so, to see if there's any improvement/regression.

6 right 13 wrong, which isnt so bad, I guess.

53 WPM.... Only 3 mistakes... Not bad I guess.

My Mom took the test and got 90 wpm with no mistakes.

Any tips to how to write faster?


Usually, it's just practice that makes you learn faster.

You can do typing courses, if you like.
I, personally have never done one.

When I was in third grade, we used a program on the computer that taught you where to put you fingers and then tested you on your accuracy.
