The white one is more peaceful. The darker one was creepy looking.
Now that you say this, it does look a bit creepy. I guess I like it because it stands out (not sure if this is the right word) in the white background of the page.
Artistically wise, it was probably better, but as far as the spirit of Thanksgiving goes, the white one was probably better.
I have absolutely no idea about the spirit of Thanksgiving, so what you're saying may be true
