Like the title says, I am looking for a thread I posted a while back. I can't remember exactly when it was started, I think around early/mid-October?

I believe I posted it in the "flash games" forum, but when I checked back two (2) days later, the thread was nowhere to be found. I checked several pages in the whole support forums, but I still can't find it.

It was a help needed thread, I was looking for a specific game (which I still haven't found). Is there any way I could do a forums search, or do I just give up?

So... did you find the thread and/or maybe the game itself then? This is not something I can make up from your last post InvalidUser123... if you haven't already, please let us know some keywords for the thread or the game and we can use it to try and help you find either of them, ok?

No, I haven't found either. As far as I remember the thread was titled something like "looking for game". The game itself was a top-down space exploration-style game. Lots of features, but the main problem was I could not remember where I played it from.

I have two games I like to play frequently. Both are top down games about exploration in space...

One is a shooter called RoboKill and takes place inside a space station...

and the other one is called Starcom and is about exploring quadrants in space.

Is it one of the two maybe? And if not... please provide some more information based upon these two games, for example:

~ Which of the two does it resemble most?
~ Did you fly a spacecraft of some sort or were you on the ground?
~ What did the playing field look like?
~ What was your objective?

Stuff like that... maybe we can sift through the games a little easier that way and find it for you! =)

It was more in the style of Starcom, you were in a ship flying around fighting, exploring, and mining asteroids. You could upgrade to different ships, weapons, and other modules. It was a single player game, but it constantly felt like it was multiplayer, there were always other ships flying around, just hanging out, big bases to go to, and huge amounts of areas with nothingness. I think I remember a full minimap on the HUD, in a coordinate-plane style. It may not have been right in the HUD though.

Other than that, I can't recall much else.

Oh, sorry for double post:

With the objectives, I think there was a main story line and other side-quests, but I never really got around to doing any of them, I remember I just liked to explore as much as I could. ">.>

I think xeano321 has indeed localised your thread, but... I might have found your game... was it -by any chance- a game called Star Lost?! It is a top down shooter/space exploration/mining game... sounds a lot like what you described in your thread there! =)

No, it's not Star Lost, but it's extremely similar, but better graphics, and much much more expansive. It'll do for now, so thank you =D

It isn't Traitor as mentioned in the other thread either. Thank you Xeano321 for locating that thread as well.

Allright InvalidUser123! Well... if you should ever have the urge to find that particular game again/still, I guess we'll seeing a thread about it re-appearing again! =)

Locking this one for now...
