Barq's is way more flavorful. A&W is way too sweet for root beer.

A&W is the better option for me because Barq's has caffeine, which I'd rather not drink. They pretty much both taste the same, though.

I agree with R2 on this one. Root beer is more like "LET'S PUMP THE TREE JUICES OUT AND COMBINE THEM WITH A BUNCH OF GROUND-UP WORMS WITH LIQUID RANCID DOG FLESH PILED ON TOP!"
However you're free to like it all you want ^^

Never had root beer before its really hard to get in the uk without you pay a lot its like 90p for a small can off tescos online store so I guess I can't really vote on this one.

Must you describe it like that? I mean, I have 10 2-liters out in the fridge right now, and I have to drink them with that description in mind.
