~ The 4 kingdoms
The Northern Kingdom: Due to severe weather conditions, players from this kingdom have great endurance and have high pain tolerance. The Eastern Kingdom: The east is the most brutal kingdom of all. Players from this kingdom are excellent warriors and have great strength. The Southern Kingdom: The southerners are the richest and most intelligent kingdom. Players from this kingdom are great strategists and very technical in battle. The Western Kingdom: This kingdom is secluded from the other 3. Because of this, players from here are very clever and great at improvising to survive. ~
NOTE: I suggest if you sign up, you know that you can be active. Being inactive can prove very dangerous.
You only have one hammer. The number in parentheses is the amount of storage it takes in your inventory.
The main thing the man recommends is flint, and food. Seeing as the warhammer is worn, he will buy it from you for a cheap 50 G. He also recommends a horse if you have the gold, but warns you that they usually say for around 500 G.
50 gold could buy you about one weapon or large piece of armor (chestplate, shield, helmet), and could fill you up on food and supplies pretty well.
You take a right, and you see the hall is illuminated with torches.
Would you like to take one?
After (not) taking the torch, you keep heading down the hallway. Eventually you reach a downwards spiral staircase, and you see that one floor down there is a guard. However, he isn't wearing the uniform of the kingdom, but one you have not seen before.
You take a left, heading towards the mountains. The plain in between you and the mountains is about 100 yards, and very hilly. You are about halfway there when you run into a deep ditch, with a stream running through it, and eventually underneath the walls of the kingdom.
You're in your room, when your father calls you downstairs. He is standing with 3 knights. They let you know that you have been banished from the kingdom. They give you a hunting knife, loaf of bread, canteen, and 50 gold. They then tell you that you can choose one additional weapon from your household to take with you. You ask to head up to your room, to get the weapon you want. What they do not realize is that your room is the roof. You have run rooftops before, and doing it now wouldn't be too difficult. In you're room is your katana blade, along with your bow and arrows.
I won't take a torch. I closely inspect the guard to see which weapons he has on hand. I then take out my bow and slowly/quietly go down the stairs whilst pointing at the guard at all times. If he notices me I first try to talk to him but if he is hostile I will shoot.
I've changed my mind. I will sell my warhammer, and purchase one flint, one bow, and two sets of arrows. Might I ask what storage items you have for sale?
You hop in the stream, and follow the current until you are under the castle. You look down the stream, and realize that it leads to a waterfall. Oh no! You grab onto the ledge of the opening, and hold on. If you swim out you might be exposed to the guards, but if you let go you will fall.
You are sparring with a partner one day, when someone calls your name. They tell you your father wants to see you. You sheathe your sword, go to your house with shield in hand, and are greeted by your father and 3 knights. They tell you that you have been banished from the kingdom, and must leave in under 10 minutes. They give you bread, 50 gold, a canteen of water, and a hunting knife. They tell you you get to bring one weapon of choice with you. You have your sword, and your bow and arrow, along with your shield.
You sell your warhammer for 50 G, and then purchase the flint, bow, and arrows for 65 G. He offers you two storage items. One is a leather bag, and the other is leather body armor. The bag will increase your storage capacity to 35, the body armor will increase it to 25 and increase your health by 5. The bag is on sale for 30 gold and the armor is on sale for 40 gold.
I choose to barter for the armor. "Forty gold seems a steep price for leather armor. Might you be willing to sell it to me for...hmmm... twenty-eight gold?"
