i love this game it is awsome and intresting because of the shooting and the cool action in the game it is so intresting.With zombies and other killer guys i love this game and i think this game is 10/10 and i think this game is better then thing thing 3 or thing thing 2 or thing thing 1 and thing thing area.The reason why i like this game because of the cool shooting and the leavls they have it is like so cool to play them right now and i have a question how do you get the gun N.U.K.E that gun is so awsome and cool i like the machane guns and the origenal gun because it's like it never runs out of amos and cool and they second gun i like is the urp it goes like bam bam bam bam but faster then what i already said right now this game i can not keep playing it cool graphics and what will make this game better is continue with thre thing thing series and do not make the charater die in the game and make more and more and more weaons and add them to this thingthing game i recommend this game for people under 13 because of the shooting and stuff and the action in the game too.The thing i ike about thing thing 4 is the charater you make your own charater and make it your style i made mine red hair black shoes. Then aopen mouth with red coat to make it like when you shoot blood comes out of it it can be like blood on you but it's just the red coat.Sometimes i laught when i kill one of the zombies or the killer because there head exploed hahahahah it is to funy to see ahahhaha. Well ,its true we cant do anything but im posting it for the future,if someone meets another comment like this. I dont want a 'rebellion' nor something like that,im just saying...
First off, I am not going to say whether or not this user did or did not deserve a merit. Rather, I am going to try and play the 'devils advocate' here. I don't know who gave this merit out, but they probably had good reason for it.
+We do highly encourage proper grammar and capitalization, and I personally do not give merits to users who grossly ignore this. If there are a few errors but it is obvious that the user tried to use proper grammar, then this will not completely prevent them from receiving a merit.
+Merits are given when a user has something constructive and helpful to say about the game. If you actually read through that comment, yes he might have bad grammar, but he actually DID have something constructive to say about the game. He may not have been able to say it all very well, but he did have something to say about it. Which is more than 95% of the game comments out there.
+Members are constantly asking moderators to go and give out more merits. There are 800+ games on this site, and a limited amount of moderators. It is extremely hard for us to go through a merit each and every game. We do try our best, we we can't reach all of the games. This is why the Merit_Recognition page is around, so that you guys can help us find those good comments out there and bring it to our attention. Now I know it has not been checked a lot as of recently. I had a very busy quarter, and did not have accessible internet at my housing. But now that the quarter is over, I have been trying harder to check the profile and give out more merits. Many of the mods have been busy recently, but we are trying. I hope you guys have been able to see an increase in the amount of merits that moderators have been giving out overall recently.
So, before you completely judge this comment, and the mod who gave it out, actually read through the comment. Try and look past the obvious grammatical errors, and see what the user actually had to say. He said more constructive things about the game than most people have to say. You have to admit, it IS better than a 'alright, 6/10' comment.
The game "Dragon Rider" is a very fun and addicting game and you have 3 powers Fire Ice and Electric and I love hitting everything that get's in your way and I love when you have the special abbility you can just blast the things out of the sky.My favourite power would have to be ice and the one I dislike the most would be Electric which means that Fire is inbewtween good and bad.The dragon is sort of small but who cares about the size as long as he is good.The bugs are really easy to kill and I love the massive Big Hot Air Ballons they seem the hardest but they are quite easy to kill if you know how to duck from there powers.This game is very fun and addicting and I don't see why the Average Rating is so low 5.7 this is way better than that 9.5/10 from me!

Constructive feedback, and well written. I would work on perhaps suggesting improvements? Might be more helpful to the developer that way Keep up the good work!
Good comment, I personally feel there isn't enough criticism on how to improve and such. Could have gone more in depth but I think this is merit worthy. Just don't think mods saw it, they are busy as Carlie said.
yeah its certainly longer than a "this game is whatever 6/10" but content wise it says little more.
i dont exactly have the merit requirements memorized, but length seems to carry a lot of weight and that comment certainly packs that in. -as for telling me anything about the game, i understand that the game is sick, cool, rocks and awesome, theres a gun that goes blam blam blam, there is action and he recommends it for children under thirteen then later changes his stance recommending that you be OVER 13 for the game. -recommendations to improve the game consist of: continue making these games and make the main character invincible. -he states his opinion in spades ie: rocks, cool, sick, etc...
i gotta say... im not feelin meritty on that one.
in fact i have been a long time (at least a week or two) advocate of upping the merit standards to look less academic and more insightful. i think merit content that reiterates to me what i can see simply by not being blind is pointless. restating the most basic principles of the game... what does that add? the game is called "Rescue the Princess" I think I have a clue as to where this plot goes, but thanks for hipping me to your in depth look via merited comment. wtf?
i think the merit system needs to be analyzed a little bit. but what do i know, i only have 1 merit. probably only deserve 3-5. probably deserve 10-14 de-merits. glad we dont have those... yipes.

Personally, length in a comment is only what first catches my eye. I am not going to stop for a one sentence review, because nothing very constructive and good can come out of just one sentence. But once the length catches my eye, I read into it further to see if it has some of the essential qualities.
I did not say whether or not this comment deserved a merit. All I am saying is that whoever did it, probably has their reasons.
