So, I just saw a video on AOL about this group of hackers who have a WMD they are ready to send out as Operation Last Resort, which is, their Last Resort. They believe that certain forms of the FBI and the Feds are not letting regular U.S. citizens their proper rights, and I totally agree. Not about using the WMD as their "Last Resort", but the Feds have too much power, and they are using their power against the people in an unfair way, and the Feds. are supposed to help us, and make our country a totally better place. Watch this video. It is very informative, and let me know what you guys think about Anonymous and his &quotlan".

That's a big lie. They said they're gonna hack Facebook, they didn't do it.They said they're gonna hack Wikipedia, they hacked it for 7 days.Only thing they did is that they made co-crearor of Reddit commit a suicide(Reddit is anonymous to me). They're thing we're gonna hack this/that is stupid to me.It's bull****.OMG,what if they're planning to hack AG?!D=FBI's website is their main target. They probably started as little 12 year old's,they evolved to ultimate hackers now.

Still, even if it's a big lie, they've still hacked purdy good. Any amount of hack like that is superb hacking skillz to me.

Only thing they did is that they made co-crearor of Reddit commit a suicide(Reddit is anonymous to me).

Anonymous didn't make him commit suicide.

As wolf asked, what are you basing this on?
Also, how are you gonna help a whole country if you don't have any power? If you want them to help you, give them the possibility to. If you don't trust them, help yourself.

Concerning Anon, I really don't know what their motives are. I also don't know if they seriously think they'll change things by their small hacking actions. I might just throw into here that I already heard about hackers being caught and hired by the government for their own services. Not saying Anon is doing all of this purely as job application, but you can't rule out anything, especially with a "group" as heterogenous as that.

The Feds do have too much power, read the constitution and you'll clearly see it. They shouldn't be involved in the bedroom, cultural issues, drugs issues, or even crime, that for the police. They also shouldn't be regulating businesses and giving free handouts, let that be privatized. PATRIOT Act, NDAA 2012, TSA, unwarranted searches, etc...

Anyways, Anon has no WMD, that's laughable.

Also, I do hope you know by warhead they mean it's the key that will un-encrypt everything and reveal the secret info. They aren't going to launch actual warheads, jesus....

"I'm a socialist, so that puts me totally outside any concept...the Canadians get it. But seriously, most people don't get it. The idea of capping people's income just scares people. 'Oh, you're taking money from the rich.' Ooh, what a horrifying thing. These people really need $200 million". - Lewis Black

They also shouldn't be regulating businesses and giving free handouts, let that be privatized.

Why?

Now, I want every American who reads this post to read that quote by Lewis Black. And I want someone to tell me why someone needs 200 million dollars. And then I want someone to tell me what is wrong with socialism. Not what you DISLIKE about socialism, but what is fundamentally WRONG with it. I hear time and again that the American government has too much power, but no one ever explains what the hell they mean.

Well. Are you familiar with the constitution? If you read it, and it used to be this way, the government's ONLY role, ONLY! ONLY! ONLY!, is to provide national security, in times now, they should protect our rights, and if there is a threat to national security, such as an attack, invasion, or imminent attack, then they tack action. Take for example, the wars we're in now, actually, think every war after WW2, till now. It's not our business, we don't need to get involved, it's a waste of money. Osama attacked us? Okay fine, hunt him and capture/kill him. Don't invade Iraq.

We have wasted billions of the drug wars, billions on marijuana alone, when clearly, studies have shown marijuana does not cause cancer, it's does not kill brain cells, and is a little less addicting than caffeine. It also ties up courts/jails. And gives rise to lots of crime, like alcohol prohibition did.

Socialism won't work. It leads to Communism which never works either, it's just a dictatorship with with tiny bits of either one, or both. Nobody really needs 200 million dollars, but why not? You make yourself, everyone is supposed to be equal in the sense that you could make 200 million dollars yourself if you wanted. Everyone being equal just WON'T work. They also want everyone to be classless and have no leader, but someone would eventually take over and rule everyone.

However, a small government with freedom, like the founding fathers of america intended, would work.

This is untrue. Socialism does not lead to Communism. You can run a socialist economy and keep democracy. So that does not count toward answering my question. You're just stating something you dislike about a socialist economy.

Nobody really needs 200 million dollars, but why not?

Because spreading that 200 million dollars around can help a lot more people than if one person were to keep it to themselves.

everyone is supposed to be equal in the sense that you could make 200 million dollars yourself if you wanted.

Really? Do me a favour, go make 200 million dollars. Actually better yet, go tell a person suffering from severe manic depression to make 200 million dollars. Anyone can do it, right? If those with crippling mental illnesses, but they're just too lazy, right?

However, a small government with freedom, like the founding fathers of america intended, would work.

Your founding fathers were hyprocrites in the worst sense. You Americans really need to stop glamorizing your nation's history.

So, do you want parts of socialism, or a complete socialist government?

Forcing people to give away their money? Sounds like a very free country....

How were they hypocrites? And why not glamorize it when it's infinitely better than where we are now.

It's called taxes... You pay them whethr you want to or not.

So, do you want parts of socialism, or a complete socialist government?

It is my belief that a government should provide four things to it's people: A right to life, security, education, and health care.

With those four things a person may live healthy, free and educated so that they may get the most out of life. A man should not die young and ignorant simply because he cannot afford something. Also, you failed to comment on my point of mental health.

How were they hypocrites? And why not glamorize it when it's infinitely better than where we are now.

Because ignorance is not fitting for anyone. Your constitution stated that ALL MEN were protected by its rights and yet your founding fathers were slave owners. That, good sir, is hypocrisy. And 1776 was a much worse time to live in than now. Poorer health and education, a constant threat of the elements, the fear of a British invasion. If you think world is dangerous now, you obviously have no grasp upon history. History is not there for people to place it upon a pedestal, it it there so that we may learn from it, so that we may gain knowledge and move forward. Nostaligia is sweet, but it should never be an ideal.

Yes, taxes, yes. But not saying, You make 200 Million? That's too much. Hand over half, so we can spread it, while you're at it grow food too, an give half of it away.

It is my belief mentally retarded people should be care for, but not with my tax money, why should I and others pay for broken people? They shouldn't be allowed to reproduce or go to school, or even get a job. Depending on the severity. I see kids at school all the time deformed, completely brain dead, some can't even talk except for occasional sounds/laughs. I look at them and think, how could something like that happen? That's terrible, and I hope they are cared for until they die. But at the same time, I'm just min blown as to why they would bring in a child that can't speak, and can barely listen to any instructions whatsoever to school. Most of those kids, even the ones that aren't really bad, but aren't good either, just color. Maybe throw a ball around if they have Physical Education. I wonder why my taxes must pay for him to sit at school and color all day. It's wrong.

Also, if I can work as a janitor and make the same money as a doctor why would anyone bother to be a surgeon, a doctor, a lawyer, a programmer, or anything else unless of course they really wanted to? I'd do programming as a hobby, but you can bet I'd be a janitor and making that bank too.

Taxes should be low by the way, much more than they are now.

We have the right to life, the police/myself will protect it. Security? Well, go buy a home system, and the government will have it's army and a good defense, though not overblown as it is now. Education is not a government matter. And Health Care is not a government matter. That's not to say they shouldn't be provided, but the government should definitely not be the providers.

A lot of the important figures in our country back then did own slaves, most treated them good. Times change you know? Look at Homosexuality, it's now accepted mostly by younger people, but by country people a lot, and older people, they are mortified at the fact of homosexuality. Eventually they'll die out and we won't have the gays are evil crap anymore. Also consider slavery was on it's way to being abolished too, at different times, though congress never agreed, the religious, likely, homophobic, superstitious people would say stuff like you can't declare equal what god created unequal. So modern day republicans... Oh sorry, didn't mean to let that slip out.

And I agree, a lot of things were bad back then, but then again, you had to worry about criminals, and foreign invaders, and at one point, each other. But nowadays, you have to fear your own government. Everything I'm typing now the government can see, every text, message, video call, phone call, it's all there for them, they could pin-point my location and view every object and person in my home from their computers right now. That is too much power, why you don't agree is beyond me. Getting involved in any conflict that hasn't posed any threat to you, is wrong. Sending assault rifles into mexico giving them to the drug cartels is wrong, giving missiles to al quade/Taliban is wrong! Taking away freedoms to protect you is wrong.

You know how farms work right?

It is my belief mentally retarded people should be care for, but not with my tax money, why should I and others pay for broken people?

Broken people? So someone who suffers any form of mental illness is broken? Congratulations you just entered a level of ignorance that is not only offensive to roughly one quarter of the American population, but to anyone with common sense.

They shouldn't be allowed to reproduce or go to school, or even get a job. Depending on the severity. I see kids at school all the time deformed, completely brain dead, some can't even talk except for occasional sounds/laughs. I look at them and think, how could something like that happen? Everyone has a right to life. Your constitution supports these people just as much as it supports you, that sir, is utterly reprehensible. To consider any human being below you for something that cannot be accounted for, for something that cannot be controlled is inhuman. To care for these people is expensive, more than most people can afford, should we let these people die? Should we kill them off simply because YOU believe they do not help society?

Also, if I can work as a janitor and make the same money as a doctor why would anyone bother to be a surgeon, a doctor, a lawyer, a programmer, or anything else unless of course they really wanted to? I'd do programming as a hobby, but you can bet I'd be a janitor and making that bank too.

Not how socialism works. You're thinking of communism, please educated yourself on the difference between the two. There are varying degrees of socialism, I support private industry, however I do not believe that education and healthcare should be privatized.

Education is not a government matter. And Health Care is not a government matter. That's not to say they shouldn't be provided, but the government should definitely not be the providers.

Why not? Should not everyone be provided with equal oppourtunity? Or should society merely favour those rich enough?

Eventually they'll die out and we won't have the gays are evil crap anymore

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here, but that sentence implies you want homosexuals to die out. Explain.

. But nowadays, you have to fear your own government.

Only if you choose to be that paranoid. Personally I have issues with my government, but that is because I am not a Conservative. However, I would never fear my government. Why should I?

That is too much power, why you don't agree is beyond me.

It is not power that concerns me, but the use of power. Since the government is not abducting you for speaking out against it, I cannot say then that they have too much power. A government who abuses power, is one that has too much power.

Getting involved in any conflict that hasn't posed any threat to you, is wrong. Sending assault rifles into mexico giving them to the drug cartels is wrong, giving missiles to al quade/Taliban is wrong! Taking away freedoms to protect you is wrong.

Yes, I agree. However, think about this: the society reflects the government.

I haven't followed the story, but I'm happy to know that people exist who can out hack the government. The Feds have become self serving, and the Internet and anonymity are the perfect tools for revolution.
