Monty Python's Holy Grail
Monty Python's Life Of Brian
Both absolute genius, undeniably the best films ever.
Also the Back to the future trilogy.
It was LOTR,now it's Night at the museum.
DUM DUM,did you bring me gum gum?
That scene made NATM my favourite.
Hotrod was pretty excellent. That stands out for now, but that was also the last movie I saw.
Les Miserables (the musical version) for being a musical, The Hobbit for being relatively the best action film I've seen in a while. I'm really anticipating The Hobbit: There and Back Again, since I'm guessing that's when they'll deal with the Necromancer and all that fun stuff. Inception was pretty good. I've been hearing a lot about the Star Trek movies recently (especially with the second coming out soon ). I'll probably watch the first one soon and like it, and go and watch the sequel when it comes out. For historically-kind-of-inaccurate-but-dang-awesome movies, I'd go with Gladiator and Ip Man. And, of course, Up. In terms of horrible but hilarious movies, there's always Rubber and Kung Pow.
Well... The last really great movie was watched was Idiocracy. That movie was funny as ****
Wait wait wait... someone's watched The Fifth Element? Nice. I also liked Idiocracy, with its take on the wall street crash (when computers automatically lay off 50% of the population).
My fave? Inception. I'm one of the gifted few who can actually understand the plot after watching it once. I AM THE 1%.
Other favourites are:
The Holy Grail
The Life of Brian (so irreverent it's funny)
The Day After Tomorrow
Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, haven't watched TDK Rises
12 Monkeys (again, 1%)
Time Bandits (my gift)
Generally most stuff that would be perfect, but is too convoluted to understand.
how can i ever choose 1 favorite of all time?
i cant compare "Battle Royal" whit "City of God" or "Clerks".
so i just pick 1 i like. (beside the 3 above)
"being john malkovich" is A favorite of all time.
quite hard to choose but the movie that made me the most touched, and emotional goes to the "assion of the Christ". everyone should see this movie, Christians especially. it shows the life, and death of Jesus Christ, depicted by Mel Gibson. Although Mel is not the most suited for this movie, in regards to his habits, he did do a fine job with this film. wish i could have seen it in theaters though, still,it had me in tears through the movie, and at the end.
--very good movie for all to see--
