You ask the nearest Royal Knight what is going on and he responds gruffly that an Evil disturbance has been reported in the area by some of the empire's top mages. He says that they believe a minor demon might have crossed into our plane through some kind of rift in the forest. Therefore they have been stationed there to prevent any kind of attack. After he finishes talking you hear a scream from the other side of the town. You turn around just in time to see the captain of the royal knights get pulled into the local warehouse helmet first...

You rush sword first into the warehouse ready to fight whatever demon you may encounter. As soon as you step into the warehouse you feel a dark presence overcome you. You stare straight ahead into the red eyes of a minor demon. You realize instantly that you bit off way more than you can chew. It tosses the Royal Knight Captain across the room and focuses his attention on you. The captain is badly injured but is not dead yet....

You enter the cellar doorway. As soon as you get through, the door slams shut behind you and locks itself. You look straight ahead and see four passageways. The first one has many cobwebs in nearly blocking the path. The second one seems safe and has many torches lighting the way. The third one is pitch black and you have no way of knowing how far back it goes. The last one looks very short and you can see a light at the end of it. You wipe away the ashes at your feet and see a small statement. "do not fear the unknown. Embrace it and you shall be safe."...
