What is everyone's opinion on the new widely spread (or at least from what I can see) premium content add-ons in many flash games? The user can pay a little bit to get additional features unlocked in the game or something similar.
From my point of view, I understand that flash developers also need to make money, but I always thought of flash games as something that would remain free.
Premium content should unlock features that can still be obtained normally but with much more grinding/time spent (like a strong weapon unlocked earlier, or additional in-game cash) so those who have the money to spend can enjoy the game at their pace, but free players can also enjoy all the features.
From what I've seen, advertisements in games work well, as well.
