i personal dont believe it but many groups have predicted it ex: mayans,hopi indians,the bible St Malachy predicted the world will end with the 112th pope; pope bendict is our 111th pope. Why would all these people predict the same date?

no not true the mayans could of just made another calander they just didnt live long enough to do so

Oh man. Funniest forum post in this thread.

Anyways. If you have ever watched the history channel or discovery channel documentaries on it you would know that it is fake and just a theory. Even in the show, they quote the scientists:

"All though we cannot read the Mayan calender (the longest of the calendars they have [like 4 I believe]) we believe that it is showing us the end marked in December 21, 2012."

As soon as he said that. I turned off the T.V. and laughed for 10 minutes.
