In my opinion, the best part of the old points system was unlocking new armatars. Obviously, the old system is gone, and with it unlockable armatars. Is there any chance of unlockable armatars coming back, perhaps with the rumored "Quest Points" system?
Some "unlockable" armatars have been made available to anyone. The rest of them are legacy, though some users claim that there is still an AP calculation on to unlock armatars.

Well..saying as how I've unlocked about 3-4 tiers of armatars since the transition (unlocked them when my amount of "oints" would have unlocked them)..I'd say it is a pretty valid claim on at least my profile's part
