@Rogue_Art, gamepredator: You have to use one of the skills that has "may kill targets instantly" in its description. e.g. Lance's Sawblade. Just keep using this against low-level mooks and eventually you will get the achievement.
@Clancy: Just use that key anyway you will get more (at least 1-2 coral keys) once you advance and keep a sharp eye for chests. If I remember correctly, there's one just above the area where the weapon shop is located.
@zatchbell896: Train every member of the party to lev. 29 or higher. Have Anna learned "Revive" (Special) max level, Matt learned "Triple Sawblade" or "Sawblade" (Special) max level, Natalie learned "Star Shower" (Skill) max level.
The Glitch can only defeated with non-elemental skills. At your beginning of every turn, use Natalie's "Star Shower" to damage The Glitch and kill its two subordinates, then use Matt's "Triple Sawblade" or "Sawblade", Anna can revive the other two with her "Revive". And if Anna is down, you can always have Matt revived her with the item "coffee". Keep doing that and you will win in no time.
The glitch is in the back of the "Lockdown" room which requires the 5 specified switches to be turned "on" and the 5 switches not specified to be turned "off". This room is in the factory.
The hidden ruins requires you to complete the quest which requires the blue scroll. Get the scroll from one of the guys in the desert weapon shop for spike boots. Get the spike boots from one of the first pirates you see for a spade. Get a spade from someone else in the desert.
To kill Glitch, just equip yourself with non-element weapons and summon Kitten Fort before it attacks. You get several round moral status and it won't be able to touch you.
I cant kill the glitch - i opened the door with the right switches but i have no key to the copper block!!
I was having the same problem, so I had to search the whole map again to find the key. Finally found it on a table in the rare items shop in Whitefall Town.
The factory has 10 switches, 5 of them must be off (red) 5 on (green), the 5 on (green) are 2, 3, 6, 9, 10 (II, III, VI, IX, X), if you set then so the door opened, you can reach 3 of the chests without harm, only the one in the top left let you run into the glitch.
to get to the lost ruin The lost ruins find the scrol that just says a bunch of directoins then go in those directions in the part with the sign in the middle
First, HINTS: -- The metal door in between those 2 doors gives you a hint (look at the roman numerals...) -- When fighting, scan and look at the buffs of the enemy...looks like you won't be able to attack it with any attack that has a specific damage type! (another HINT: Natz has a very useful spell for this battle)
If don't like to post spoilers/answers here... if you still can't figure it out, google it - i'm sure you will find it :P
looks like you won't be able to attack it with any attack that has a specific damage type!
Well, lets splitting hairs, but "normal dmg" is physical dmg... also a specific type of dmg (let me spoiler it... Matt is very handy here^^), and Natz "neutral magic"-skill can also count as specific^^
So in total the game have (afaik) twelve specific dmg types, eleven magic + physical.
Nother hint on top, make sure you cwipe out the smaler glitches, otherwise the fight can be... complicated^^
If you read the previous posts, you would have an idea on how to defeat it. Yahel posted:
-Learn Matt's limit break "Ragnarok" -Enter a combat with his limit break ready and of course cast it -Use item called "Chilli Suace" and FILL UP HIS Limit Break again.
You can kill it in like 2-3 attacks ( depends on your level, strength and Critical hit LUCK )
Spreezy also stated:
Fighting it just requires non-elemental damage, I used the chainsaw blade on Matt, eagle eye bow on Anna and Natalie's star spells.
All you need is physical and neutral magic dmg. Matt is good in phys dmg, perfect if you have ready his "Ragnarok"-limitbreak, so equip one of his physical-blades (bone- blood- chainsaw-blade) and use "Ragnarok" or "Swift Slash". Natz... same here equip her with a neutral weapon (epoch, road sign, alchemy set) and use her "Star Shower". Third one... i prefer Anny, neutral bow (alchemist, departed, iron tooth) and use her "Arrow Rain".
The glitch is able to kill one of your party in a single hit... and he comes with two smaller glitches, they can do the same, so you must take this smaller versions out at any cost! The deal is to hit all enemys on the field (swift slash, ragnarok, star shower and arrow rain hit all targets) and deal enough phys/neutral dmg to take out the smaller glitches and dmg the big one. If you kill the smaller ones fast enough you can go with more powerful single-target-skills on the main glitch. These smaller version come back, so make sure you wipe them out every turn. The glitch kill one of your party, revive this one with coffee or a skill, also auto-revive is useful here, but dont use healskills... useless, what he hits is dead, equal if you revive with 1 hp (from auto-revive), the 30% from coffee or full hp.
So its simple, revive a member if needed (buy enough coffee before you fight the glitch!), the other two deals dmg, sooner or later the glitch is dead, Very fast and easy way is to let Matt attack first with Ragnarok, then use another party-member to give him Chilli-sauce (reffill his limit-break), but you dont need to waste your chilli sauce here, thats only a short-cut^^
