Today is the memorial day in Israel. Unlike USA memorial day, in Israel its a sadday, wher ceremonies are taking place in cemeteries, the TV is off or showinh biographied on the fallens and on Israel wars.

So, when is the "memorial day" in your country? What happen in this day? Does there is any chang or does it a normal day?

It's also a sad day in the US, but there's an additional focus on unity, family, and the nation as a whole, not just to be sad, and not just for war. The overall theme is to proudly remember the fallen but keep moving forward; find strength and prevail through the toughest of times. It's become a more "we're a nation with many great things, and each and every one of us, especially the dead, have sacrificed to preserve it" day, thus some things may seem more celebratory than somber, but it's a celebration of achievements, that we wouldn't be where we are today without our continued efforts.

15th February is our "Memorial Day", to remember the first day of the Japanese Occupation.
