You enter a dirty old elevator shaft, climbing down a sinewy-rope ladder as the actual elevator was smashed up and looted years ago.
You then enter a long chamber with no visible roof. The far wall, originally a area where crude-oil oozed it's way to freedom is on fire, billowing thick blobs of smoke skyward.

You enter the mine and go down elevator (more of a over-sized dumbwaiter really) and enter a moderately sized chamber cut into rock, glowing orange gems the size of pineapples stick out of the ground on strange angles. They are fairly valuable but explode if they're disturbed, so I suggest you leave them alone.Theres is hole cut into the ground with a ladder leading down, there is also a heavy-duty metal door leading out of the chamber.

As you traverse the chamber your foot bumps into a crumpled aluminum tool box on the ground and something inside rattles. You start trying to open in but quickly stop, finding that the metal is burning hot.

You go down the ladder and find that the chamber below has several tropical looking plants growing in bunches around the glowing gems, there is a small stream of dark water flowing through the chamber as well. There is a half degraded door leading deeper.

Can I also get back my knife? I will carefully cut of one of the mans sleeves and use it to tie his arms together, then with the other sleeve I tie his ankles together. Then because my face still hurts I give him a brief random haircut.

The door creaks open loudly. Standing right in front of you just though the door is a bipedal brutish looking creature with long monkey like arms.
The creature is completely covered in dark blue fish scales with a translucent crimson fin on it's back ending in a nasty looking scorpion tail.
As it see's you the animals pupils turn to slits and it growls at you.
