I was just wondering about the censoring thing. Like I understand that people don't want to see swear words. But for me I don't really care I was wondering if it is universal for everyone that they see swear words or if it is possible to turn it on so that I can see them.
I have been to a few websites where you can enable swearing or disable swearing for yourself but It seems to be really distracting here on this website because you can't really tell what point people are trying to get across

The administrators don't like swearing so the censorship system is always on.

Speaking of which, it doesn't censor the "k" word. Not cool.

That is probably the poorest reason for enabling swearing that I've ever seen.

You cant tell the difference between **** and **** **** and there are some conversations where you really don't have a clue about they are trying to say and it is pretty confusing.

How many conversations contain all of those swears and are still okay in the eyes of the rules? If there's a word you really need to use, then I think you should just improvise.

Well see heres the thing. I usually don't use them but other people are using them a lot and it is hard to understand what they are trying to convey. I don't think we can just expect people to change around their vocabulary and some people don't stop and think that "oh AG censors things" most people just write what they intend to write

If it is hard to understand it is better left un-conveyed. And the only reason the admins have the censor thing is because they want a family friendly website, meaning no foul language. It's even listed in the Commenting Rules & Regulations. They are quit vigilant.

I think the admin quote for cursing "You can change it and you will". I'm not sure if they'd actually say that but if they did I'd fall on the floor laughing. :P

People can be on the site as young as 13. Swearing isn't necessary. Also, getting around the swear filter in a creative manner isn't a good idea either.
