Ey yo admins, When you gonna unban my account, brah? It's been like... two years or somethin'. What up, dawg? And don't tell me to contact you or somethin' 'cause I done did that already a long time ago and I ain't get no response, yo.
He's innocent, it's true. While he did have wrongdoing, he received no adequate warning. His "crime" was extremely minor, and he got no temp ban, or warning of specific consequences. He deserved a 3 day ban and a warning of a permaban, not an immediate permaban.
I mean, I hate possum as much as the next person, but it's high time he gets justice on this.
But that was a completely different account, loooooong after I'd been banned! AMW. WEPR, The Tavern. Popular Media. Long ago, the forum sections lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when cormyn attacked. Only thepossum, master of all forums, could stop him, but when the Community needed him most, he vanished. Two years passed and Knight_34 and Thisisnotanalt found the same thepossum, an awesome dude named thepossum. And although his forum skills are great, he needs a lot of unbanning before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe I can save the Community.
Come on Ferret, be cool. Errybody did that! I mean, I didn't, but Possum was far from the only one, and not the only one anybody ever noticed/reported. He was just the only one punished for it. As he mentioned, that was long after the first completely unjustified ban. His Avatar riff is basically 100% true.
Besides, it was never really satisfactorily demonstrated that possum was to blame for that, as the accounts were completely separate, and the implementation of html did allow other users to take malicious action that would appear on other people's profile via the comments.
In short, the evidence linking possum to the crime is pretty shaky, especially since it wasn't even the account that was permabanned. For all you know, it could have been me trying to defame him. Or anyone.
That said, he hasn't exactly claimed innocence on the issue. A ban for THAT could be justified. I'm not really saying you should unban him or anything. But his initial perma was out of line.
I need little more data then him redirecting profile pages to pornography. And these thoughts are echoed by the moderator team. Questioning this ban publicly will end now, he can contact me privately if he wishes to discuss it further.
