Also, some members are extremely good English speakers, and even when their voice is transferred from Korean to English, they still beautifully.
Overall, their beauty is not the sole thing that attracts me to the girl group. I can't force you to like them, but you have to admit they have good ranges in their singing voices.
Neither is Bikini Kill. Both bands are actually pretty awful. They just didn't have the machine of publishing cleaning them up. So they suck. But it is pretty raw. Worth listening to a bit I think.
Mostly I'm just concerned with the political angle.
SNSD was massively popular among my Korean friends back in high school, but I've never been a fan. In general, K-Pop isn't really my kind of music, save a few songs. Most of the girls, as idols, are pretty cute though, I guess. But in that regard, I prefer IU. And now that I think about it, I'm not so sure if my friends were even interested in the music so much as they were in the girls themselves. They got hyped up over new music videos (i.e., new choreography) rather than over new songs.
