Hello armor gamers, and welcome to the *official* GFX Battle thread!

GFX is short for Graphics, this thread was made so that other members can partake in art contests. Here is how it will work:

I) A moderator will choose a theme and a finishing date.
II) Members who choose to partake in this event will make make artwork that fits the chosen theme.
III) After the contest is over, a moderator/moderators will overlook all submissions and choose a winner.
IX) The winner will be granted 25 Armor Points

Everyone can partake in this event no matter what programs they have, or do not have. Some may have nothing but MSpaint. That is ok! Remember that all submissions will be reviewed. Everyone has an even chance for winning.

*GUIDELINES*
I) Stick to the theme given
II) Posts in this thread must be related to the event.
III) The maximum size for a submission is 600x600, i recommend trying to make all submissions at 450x200.
IX) All entries must be in before the given date.
X) All images used in an images must not be copyrighted! If a submission is indeed copyrighted, it will be rejected, and the submitter will have to face moderation :P

Sorry I wasn't able to judge today guys, I was out of office. I will look through them all tomorrow and make the final decisions

And now... the judging for the Sixth GFX Art Battle! There were a lot of fantastic submissions for this one (the most ever for a single GFX Battle!), you guys did a great job with the theme

First Place
TomasLacerda - With a Last Stand Comic. Absolutely fantastic! Well drawn, AG themed, and with a nice splash of humor. Well done!!

Second Place
Strop - The animosity between John and pastries is mutual. Seriously, so funny, you even got his hair down, lol. The humor was fantastic, and I cannot believe that you can draw so great without a tablet. Awesome Just, awesome.

Third Place
Klaushouse - This was ridiculously cute.

Fourth Place
John - Well done, and good humor. But it couldn't take down the zombie pastry. Sorry!

Fifth Place
Arax_Nisanu - Cute, creative, and colorful

Sixth Place
Devoidless - Much better before it was edited, but unfortunately that one could not be used since it was made before the battle started Still utterly fantastic and cool, and massive props to you for making something like that. It looks very delicious, and I want to eat it... yuuuum!

Seventh Place
Estel - Humorous, and I like how you drew it out.

Eighth Place
fst6 - I like the creativity on this one. Could be cleaned up a bit, but I like the idea you have going here

TotalReview - Seriously weird and freaking me out, but it is creative... lol.

ubertuna - Cute, but you took the lolcats ideas! Oooh noes!

Eleventh Place
kingryan - Doughy doesn't understand why his dad's gone away, He thinks he's done something wrong!. I didn't understand the joke, but it was a creative idea!

Great job everyone! Eleven submissions is the most we have ever had. Keep up the great work, and I will announce the next GFX Art Battle soon!

Seventh GFX Battle

Theme: Dinosaurs
Deadline: Wednesday, August 6th @ 2pm PST

Please note: Dinosaurs are only terrestrial, but I will accept flying and aquatic species even though they are technically not dinosaurs.
