I'm a bit disgusted at your choice of posting "Worlds End Chapter 1." This is not a child friendly game and contains explicit themes and language. You should remove it immediately! Games like this are more suited for Adult Swim not channeled in where young kids can have access to obscenity's, gang violence, and insubordination. Don't you people have a conscience or kids of your own? Is this the kinda of garbage the patrons can expect to see here now?

Yet you have no issues with all the other violent Shooting genre games here....

No I noticed this game was a bit different. I agree with Deva; the swearing and lack of intelligence really made the game unattractive. I haven't seen another game with this much swearing on armorgames. What games do you mean?

Strategy based games are a good part of learning and lend to a strong basis in using logic. On the other hand using foul language as a means to perpetrate gang violence and drugs as a viable alternative lifestyle is part of the reason for the greatest moral decline in western civilization. What next AG strip poker?

Proof that moral standards are not universal. A great many video games on Armor are loaded with gory, gratuitous violence, which is oddly accepted by a generally Violent & Prude Western society. And yet, insubordination (ie, independent though), is to be banned?

Yes, this game has a much more mature plot line than many other games on Armor. However, the drug use is not glorified, (nor is it flat out vilified either). Most all of the immoral behavior is questioned within game. Much more balanced than most hack'em and slash'ems where the we little ones can lope off heads and watch entrails explode without any moral context whatsoever.

It's up to the developers to decide how the plot will unfold, but I sense a moral sensibility building in the script. It might continue to tread neutral waters in soiled land, (it's current pace), or Ysabel and Ivan may both begin to show a stronger hand towards a more 'just' path. Will have to wait for the next chapter to find out.

I would suggest this game as an exercise in moral development. Let the kids play, but be there to discuss the topics. Why does Ysabel complain about Tevoran's drug use? Why does Ivan snap back when treated as a surf? What circumstances might have created a character like Vadim? A bit of hands on with the wee ones and a 'mature' game is likely to be a whole lot healthier than neglected children endlessly loping heads off zombies.

Wow..a site that is for the ages 13+ has a game not aimed towards kids younger than 13?! What an outrage!

Nice Slippery Slope Fallacy you have there.

Um..no. No it actually isn't. Video games make us more desensitize us to such actions such as cursing, violence, etc...but they do not cause us to perform such actions.

And I suggest you read up on some Greek, Roman, and/or Christian history if you think we are in a "moral decline" right now.

and lack of intelligence

Just because you find the game in ill taste doesn't make it an unintelligent game.

Fair enough. You make some good points.

So if you were making a first impression, let's say, if you were trying to get a job, you would go about the interview swearing like it's a second language?

Pathetic Fallacy.
This is a game we are talking about, not a person or job interview.

Also, there was a thread in The Tavern in which I argued that cursing doesn't show a lack of intelligence..we find cursing so "bad" because it is the connotation we have given those words.

Also, the cursing goes with the theme. It fits the game and adds to the dialogue and ambiance of the group.
