If you've been idle for more than about 5 minutes before you look at your profile, it may show up as red because the cache has not yet updated. Being idle includes playing a game for more than just a couple minutes, so it's not unlikely that this would happen. It really depends on when you look.
It's not like it's a big deal what the insignificant little dot says, though. You know whether or not you're online. Who cares what the server thinks?
Not sure if this was a joke or if it was meant to be cache. Going with the latter. Then again, what if Mav meant empty your wallet and typed cash instead of wallet on accident? Oh, the questions!
But really, if it bothers you, open your profile in a new tab and wait for the server and wait and wait some more. Also do what Terry said.
