Incursion 2: The Artifact has a similar game concept as of kingdom Rush's. You can deploy archers and mages on the field of battle. It also comes with heroes in which you can level up and upgrade a specific skill to your liking. I think could give it a try.
Also Demons vs. Fairyland is, more or less, similar, but lacks of heroes and is its surely not as good as KR & Incursion 1 & 2.
If youre talking about TDs in general i would also suggest the GemCraft-series (mainly GemCraft Labyrinth), Mushroom Revolution, the Cursed Treasure-series (1, level pack & 2), the Monsters TD-series (1 & 2), Keeper of the Grove and Protector (parts IV and IV.V)
