I've been playing Spiral Knights for about 2 month's via AG and when i went to play it today it doesn't load the page properly. I get a message from my Browser saying this: Server not found Firefox can't find the server at www.spiralknights.com. i have tried all sort's including re-starting my PC and my Router, tried running the Browser as admin, i even tried using a different browser, but nothing is working. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance, Loki
I've tested the game and I got it to work after a few failed attempts. My computer isn't ready for this heavy game...
I've found this thread on Spiral Knights forums. I'm not sure if it's going to help you or if you'll understand what it's being said there, but I think it's worth a try.
It's not just the game it is also the Spiral Knights WIki, and the Spiral Knights Website. On a side note i am also unable to get to Three rings website, (Three rings being one of the game dev's ). I am wondering if it is something on AG side or if it is Three rings or if it is my ISP.
So basically you can't open the thread that I linked. That's unfortunate. I'm going to quote it.
It would seem a little over 24 hours ago, people have been having problems getting into the game and even unable to access the spiralknight site. This has been discussed through by friends and even the community hub forums to try to reach out for an explanation or such. I'm not one of those people but others are in need of help. Please can someone help. (Some are speculating this to be a server error, as some are from the Europe region)
Try typing ipconfig /flushdns on windows console prompt (might need admin rights).
Thanks for letting the good people of the forums know about this issue, Solotron.
Me and a few other members of the Steam Spiral Knights community were trying to figure out what could be causing the problem. We attempted various methods until eventually one user decided to experiment with using Google's public IP address. After hearing of the success, I tried it myself and am now also able to access the game.
If you know anybody that is unable to play, please try to spread the word to them as much as possible. As long they have a basic understanding of how their Operating System works, all that they need to do is follow the instructions and they'll be just fine. It may be worth trying the method posted by Little-Juances first, though.

I don't think they understand what they're looking at, themselves. That isn't Google's public IP address, it's a DNS server of theirs. One of many that people may use.
Fine if changing to it resolves the issue, but it doesn't explain why their adresses weren't otherwise getting resolved. Beats me.
nb That site of theirs didn't do much for me, either, until using Firefox I allowed NoScript to OK spiralknights.com. Just for information.

Except of course if there's something hicky going on with them. I guess DNS servers may block traffic from/to compromised or hijacked or otherwise iffy domains, whilst others may block content deemed in one way or another inappropriate, or allow users to tweak their settings to that effect.
On that note, I'm disallowing them again using NoScript
