If you count the pirate as an ordinary pirate ( not the captain) than I'll pick ninjas, but if I was a Captain, definitely pirates.

Don't know if it was samurai or pirate I would go for samurai any day but I think that I'm going to go for pirate just because gunpowder.

The ninjas did what? Guns (which pirates use) saved japan from the samurais. In ther civil war, pirates took positions as imperial navymans, with cannons and guns against the samurais, which also used guns and cannons ("the last samurai" is a crapload).

And kets not forget - do you see ninjas today? Because ther sure are pirates.

Being a pirate is not about being named after your prosthetic limb and having a parrot on your shoulder, it's about taking ships (and hostages) and stealing their cargo. There are terrifying numbers of pirates near Somalia and some in Indonesia. Basically, modern-day pirates are starving people who've grouped together with a boat and some guns.

I disagree. Pirate is the divined toche. The ability to take what you want because a pirate is free! Still from the rich gold owners of los-angelos, aka the modern movies industery. Millions pang, MILLIONS!

Plus, The vikings were pirates as well. And who dont like viking?
