MMOs have their own category, why do they show up in other categories as well? Also, it's quite pathetic when I list games by rating and the top 9 games DON'T HAVE RATING AT ALL. Shouldn't they all be at the bottom of the list since they effectively have rating of 0?
MMOs, as well as other games, have more than one tag, so they appear in more than one category, as well as other games.
And they appear everywhere... becuz of money. im pretty sure AG gets a lil interest if somebody spent real cash on one of these games. A gaming site costs money and this one is free, so they need advertisements... and other ways.^^
THe sense for no retings on MMOs are prety easy to encounter, the majority of them is surely nothing more than "send me your money"-bull****, but you will surely find people who are willing to spent cash on them... ratings may prevent these people to step into these games...
All in all, AG is a free site, free sites needs money to stay as free, so we have to deal with this MMOs,.. just ignore them.
It is because they can't figure out how to make proper categories. MMO is not game category like adventure/puzzle/action etc., it is a way of playing. They might as well put everything else into the "category" single player games. That would be equally stupid.
The same goes for "Mobile" which is not a category either, it is a platform. Everything else should be in the "category" browser games then.
Besides, I don't give five cents for their categorization of games. For instance, they have no clue to what an adventure game is. You can browse through page after page in the adventure category without finding one single adventure game.
Yes, and they probably put them into lots of irrelevant categories too, in order to get the most exposure. The whole system is a laugh and bordering on useless.
