Quote function works fine. People are just using it improperly.
Do you know of another way to quote here, other than adding the quote box yourself, and/or the username?
I'm guessing that is what Loco5 meant: The ability to hit "quote" & have the post/highlighted bit of text and username neatly filled in for you. Would be handy, indeed. (Next obvious step: Teach people to quote only the relevant parts of posts. Repeat endlessly to no avail )
That's the understatement of the century! I've been having too much fun with this new feature... I'm searching for and finding threads I had forgotten about for the longest time. It's amazing how many gems are still hidden in the forums!
