Everything else is battling, why should food be left out?

This should be pretty straightforward. Two foods will battle against each other, and the one with the most votes will win the round. Obviously you get one vote per round.

ROUND 1: Hamburgers vs. Hotdogs

Looks like it's going to be a majority win for cookies. I'm still voting Cupcakes if only because of that one thing.

Something tells me you got this from me and Snag's little debate.

I wasn't even sure who that was until he posted just above, and I don't find other people's conversations at all interesting, so I will confirm that I did not get this battle idea from any little debate anyone had.

Waffles. They store lots of syrup in their holes.

Fun fact: The creator of Nike used a waffle maker to make the first pair of Nike shoes.

Waffles, because I have a waffle iron, so they're easier to make more of.

Waffles.
Only because my friend is addicted to them things to the point where we nicknamed "Waffle".
But other than that, i like brownie waffles (yea, those are a thing, my mom makes them), and there completely and utterly amazing and delicious.

Waffles. They're much crispier, and have pockets so the syrup doesn't leak out. What a great idea! I'd like to give Cornelius Swartwout a pat on the back for a great invention.

Waffles. They hold toppings better, such as strawberries, bananas, old shoes, etc. Pancakes sometimes can't handle the extra weight. Pff, weak.

and you can call them flapjacks.

You can call waffles "flapjacks" too; people will just get confused and think you're talking about pancakes.
