I'm having trouble on Stage 7 Crimson Valley of Kingdom Rush Frontiers. If anyone has completed the level with 3 stars with Alric, please reply. Any screenshots or strategies will be much appreciated.
Lvl 7 isnt that hard... have you gain all stars at the other lvls? Basicly you can defeat the levle with Barracks and Archers only (reinforcements & rain of fire for safety^^).
I have gained 3 stars on all levels earlier, on casual difficulty. Well, it didn't work for me to use barracks, because the cannibals eat my soldiers and gain health back. It succeeded partially with archers, until a huge horde of Spider Matriarchs came and killed Alric and went past the blue flag. Rain of fire is useful but takes a huge time to recharge. Reinforcements only go as far as 2 soldiers that are weaker than barracks so I am helping the cannibals really. I have an almost level 7 Alric and Mirage is level 2 and Cronan level 4. I would only use barracks at the area where the fourth road appears, to block off spiders and wait for archers to kill them, but not with cannibal roads. However archers might work, but they have quite low damage until level 3. I don't know where to spend my money, because if i upgrade one tower the other loses out and then they can't kill all the enemies.
If you could describe which buildings to build and where with my opening budget, then it would be a big help. I don't think mages and artillery will be useful as they deal barely any damage at low level and are expensive to upgrade, so archers would play a key role. As I said, I would refrain from using barracks except on two locations so it is not a viable option. I think this is the level where the game becomes more difficult really quickly, so many players can't cope without playing the level more than 5 times.
Archers are great, but one or two mage-towers can be also very useful. I have always some barracks there, you have the 4 points in the upper left, 3 archters and 1 barracks there, pull the soldiers back as far as possible. The two points in the lower left.. archer and barracks, the barracks on the lower place, place the solders in the middle of the lower road. The right road... at the top one point archers one barracks. In the middle, where the roads connect, you have 5 places, barracks on the lowest, place solders near to the others, so you have 2 sqads of soldeirs to defend this keypoint, in the middle of these 5 you can place a mage tower, its not am ust, be can deal good dmg on the bigger units, rest is archers, ofc you can place 1 more barracks on each of the two roads to slow the enemys a lil bit more, later clean up the blocked pints and place even more archers... maybe another mage at the lower places, that all works, in casual, normal and veteran. Hero... not rly important, cronan and alric may the safer bets.
Upgrade archer towers are prefered, to lvl 2 or 3, if you see problems on a road you can upgrade barracks for the safety. Reinforcments to slow down eneyms, hold your rain of fire until its rly needed. Falconer upgrade on towers is nor needed, but you can do it. In the later waves you need some upgrades on the lower barracks, give one the first, then push the other to lvl 3, templars, also specials of them on lvl 1 isnt a bad idea. If you want it a lil bti more risky (well, imo its not too risky^^) you can push the top barrsacks on the lft to assasins with the steal gold upgrade... might pay out^^
The best plan for the jungle levels is to make sure you have at least 1 Shaman building next to 2 buildings that do damage. (Archer, Bombers, Mage) And make sure you actually put some money into the Shaman buildings too, at least 2 upgrades for each tree. (Both weakness auras)
I don not fully understand your terms. By Shamans do you mean Barracks? And each tree meaning a chokepoint? If I am right, do you mean to say 1 Barracks surrounded by ranged buildings like Artillery, Archers and Mages, and upgrade each building twice near chokepoints? And what is a weakness aura?

Shamans are one of the upgrade paths for archers. You need them in jungle due to the spirit and earth shamans, and having them will make the game at least 5x easier.

However when I look over level 7 there is no shaman tower or shamans on the level but the Shaman/tower strategy will be good on the other levels. Oh, and buy a lot of mechs and archers and try to stay away from barracks, that's key.
