Yes! It's time to dress for the cold and have those wonderful snowball fights, make your own snowman, decorate the Christmas tree, wonder what Santa's going to bring you, BUT... FIRST, we need you to make some excellent art for the Armatar Contest! The rules never changed! Here they are once more...
# ARMATAR CONTEST GUIDELINES :
1) All entries must be appropriate. They cannot be offensive or profane in nature. Keep it clean! 2) The entry must be square, and at least 100x100 pixels in dimension. 3) Your entry must scale down well to 100x100. So if it is larger, make sure that it will still look good when it is scaled down to the actual armatar size. Here are a few suggestions about this : ~ Sometimes keeping it simple is better. If you go into a lot of detail, it might not look as great when you scale it down. So keep in mind what the final size will be and check often how it looks when it is scaled down. ~ Remember to save a lot while you are making it! Better to delete 20 -in between made- save files later on, than ending up with something you actually don't like... ~ If you are able to do vector, by all means! That can help with the sharpness of the image. However, since they are so small this is probably not a big issue. 4) Must be completely original. You cannot use elements from other pieces of artwork, the entire armatar must be 100% created by you. Plagiarism will not only exclude your submission by means of disqualification, it will also exclude you from participation in any future contests AND will have further consequences! 5) Must be fitting to the current contest's theme. If a certain entry is debatable to whatever extend, a mod or admin will give the decisive and final ruling for submission.
The contest will remain open untill mid/end January, so there's more than enough time for you to enter your artwork! Closing date will be announced whenever it's time...
Allright! Grab your pencils and paper, and/or your mouse and start making your wonderful original works of art! Be creative! Amaze us! =)
Right, that's that... now, where's my hot coco? Ah! *blows* ...hmmmm... Yumm! ^^
i swear i know how to upload them! imageshak just recently changed how it does things so I messed up...
I know ,Do not worry,it can happen to anyone. It personally happened to me several times,so it's not a big deal.
Basically it goes like this, wherever you upload a picture, of course there are various sites for image sharing, after a successful upload you will get links. For successful posting on this forum use only and only direct links.
If you want, take a look at google search for: image upload Some of the results: Postimage, imgur
These are some of the great sites for image sharing. Maybe you could try some of them! They might make your experience with image sharing much simpler and easier.
Yup. my crowning achievement. It's an epic picture of Santa give reindeer to orphans so that they can find Jesus during Hanukkah roasting a ham. During a blizzard. Because it's winter. And it tends to happen.
@Devoidless Man! That must have cost you FOREVER to make! Awesome job!! Where did you get the idea? How did you execute it? Was it something you started last year? What program did you use? So many questions! Really fantastic submission there! *two thumbs up* =D

Any chance some of the old winter armatars will be available with the new entries?
@Nurvana Let me guess... that owl on a branch in the night perhaps? =P
But, probably yes... we need to upload a few first. Hang in there! =)
