Boom ^ Read

So some evidence for other universes some to have came about. Mentions talk as well about our universe being a cyclical one...if it were to be proven we lived in a cyclical one, what would this do, if anything, to the Creationist argument?

Given a semantics argument, it could then be stated that this could be evidence against a deity creating -our- universe, but can't imagine it going against an argument against the "first" universe, if there is such a thing.

Of course, this topic is just one I'm curious about. Feel free to bring up any topic pertaining to this find.

I never finished it, but think Stephen Hawking & Leonard Mlodinow's book The Grand Design gets into it in a (somewhat....) accessible fashion.

Insightful in many another way, anyhows.

nb When I mention "it," I should say if I recall they touch on the possibility of parallel universes, not just other universes, per se. (Although they may well cover the latter while they're at it.)

Friendly link fix btw, that should be http://www.technologyreview.com/view/421999/astronomers-find-first-evidence-of-other-universes/ .

what would this do, if anything, to the Creationist argument?

Either that Moses (or whoever recorded Genesis) was only shown the creation of this universe, or the meaning of "heavens" (everything out there) would be expanded to include the other universes.
